NI Practical Test
Car: Category B (or Category B Auto for automatic vehicles).
Car and trailer: Category BE.
Taxi driver: Taxi Practical Driving Test (requires a standard Category B licence first).
Motorcycle, moped, tricycle: Category AM (mopeds), Category A1 (light motorbikes), Category A2 (medium motorbikes), or Category A (unrestricted motorbikes).
Motorcycle manoeuvres test: Module 1 (Mod 1) of the practical motorcycle test.
Lorry and bus: Category C1 & Category C (lorries); Category D1 & Category D (buses); plus E categories (C1E, CE, D1E, DE) if towing a large trailer.
Tractor and other specialist vehicles: Category F (agricultural tractors), Category G (road rollers), Category H (tracked vehicles), and Category K (mowing machines).
